WHEN IT WAS A GAME:
This acclaimed award-winning film features original color footage of the players and the stadiums that have become legends in baseball history. Taken from home movies shot by fans and players, it features superstar players from Babe Ruth to Joe DiMaggio, plus many others. It also includes what is thought to be the oldest existing color footage of the 1938 World Series at Wrigley Field in Chicago.
WHEN IT WAS A GAME 2:
A continuing look at baseball's legendary heroes, from 1925 continuing through 1961, focusing on classic footage of Joe DiMaggio, Roy Campenella, Willie Mays, Hank Aaron and many more of the era's greats. Also highlighted by rare footage of Babe Ruth and a rare look at two Dodger Minor Leaguers named Chuck Connors and Tommy Lasorda.
